Light Project is proud to announce the opening of our first office in New Zealand in January 2021. Since 2008, Light Project has operated at the forefront of lighting technology and controls in Australia, delivering innovative and creative lighting solutions into commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, education and infrastructure sectors. With an established customer support team and strong brand partnerships, we are excited to continue this journey in New Zealand as the exclusive distributor of our well-known brands; Prolicht, Vode, Visual Feast, XLUX, B.lux, Clear Lighting, Intra Lighting and unonovesette.
We revel our similarities, whilst celebrating our uniqueness. Ian will continue this approach, introducing Light Project’s exclusive brand partners, culture and service to new and enduring client relationships alike.

Joining the Light Project family as a New Zealand Director and leading the way across the Tasman Sea is someone not so new to lighting – Ian Harrop. Ian joins Light Project bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to the land of the long white cloud.
After graduating in architectural design and spending time in the Middle East in a design role, Ian began his career in commercial architectural lighting in England. In 2004, he moved to New Zealand and held various senior sales roles promoting some of the biggest brands in lighting. His extensive knowledge in lighting, insight to the New Zealand market and drive to collaborate with clients to provide solutions suitable to individual needs will ensure a successful start to this new exciting chapter.
