The recessed version has a very shallow depth (38 mm), meaning it can even be installed in extremely thin walls. It can be installed both internally and externally thanks to the ultra-dry system that guarantees IP66 grade waterproofing directly on the unit body. This means that any infiltration of water between the cover and the body of the product caused by imperfections in the wall will have no effect on the IP rating of the system. The cover is free of visible screws and is mainly for aesthetic purposes. The product can also be supplied unfinished with a special primer treatment that allows the cover to be painted during installation with the same paint as the surface into which it has been installed.
