Taking an outdated, 1970s government building into the 21st century is no easy feat. For Northrop and architecture studio dwp, such a project meant stripping the building back to its shell and starting again, even when it came to the lighting.

Project Brief

The brief was to turn an outdated and run-down building into a vibrant and contemporary collaborative working environment.


Products: Utah suspended linear profile, downlights.

Products: Kalis linear profiles.

Products: CAN 140 suspended can lights.


Prolicht linear fittings and IBL suspended cans are hung at different heights to unite the heights of the different floors; custom lights complement the ceiling and neutral material palette.
