“Every floor had different floor to ceiling heights, so to unite the look of the floors, we installed suspended Prolicht luminaires and downlights at the same height. To achieve this, Light Project used different wire suspension lengths floor by floor.”
Taking an outdated, 1970s government building into the 21st century is no easy feat. For Northrop and architecture studio dwp, such a project meant stripping the building back to its shell and starting again, even when it came to the lighting.

HIGHLIGHT AND IMPACT
Prolicht linear fittings and IBL suspended cans are hung at different heights to unite the heights of the different floors; custom lights complement the ceiling and neutral material palette.
