“All in all, the lighting upgrade contributed to a very positive result. The upgrade has improved the overall presentation of the lobby and offers a premium space for its current and future tenants.”
141 Walker Street lobby
— New South Wales
141 Walker Street by Incorp and LightStudioMG (LSMG)
Presented with what was effectively a blank canvas, Incorp and LightStudioMG (LSMG) were tasked with upgrading the lobby at 141 Walker Street. Alongside carefully selected architectural lighting equipment, Prolicht pendants feature above the concierge desk, reinforcing the vastness and height of the lobby, and making it one to remember.
Light Project Team
The lobby was very dated and in need of considerable interior upgrades, repurposing of spaces and, of course, new lighting.
The volume of the space is celebrated by feature pendants; lamps add a ‘human factor’; integrated joinery lighting expresses texture and finishes; and wall-mounted lighting sets a backdrop.
HIGHLIGHT AND IMPACT
Drama and interest were created within the lobby using dynamic ring pendants, custom-ised rectangular pendants and carefully selected architectural and decorative lighting el-ements.
